The First is of course BBQ’s, this one doesnt seem to effect me directly being a veggie but come tomorrow im guessing most of my mates are guna be glued to the toilet water in one hand, refrigerated toliet paper in the other.

next has to be the want to do fuck all, sit on the grass, fall behind on work and not really care.

Yet the one that gets me more then the others yet becomes tied in is drinking.

On a usual booze day you start drinking evening time after a day of work with the plan to go to town. Yet add Sun into the mix and you end up drinking for well over 12 hours, fall down something, still go into town and wake up with a sore head, a lack of self esteem and a potentially new case of Syphilis.

morrel of the story… if it was sunny everyday, we would all end up dead, save us from our selves.

I think its an important story and one I wasn’t aware of before making this. (The story of Solders killed not by german guns……but by there own country)

Coming from a comedy background Its My first attempt at anything history….or to be honest serious based and would like to know what you all think.

On the sitcom front im still plugging always with it, managed to squeeze in a really offensive joke involving a wheelchair and a flight of stairs. Should be able to start filming the intro over the next weeks depending on uni work.

As you may of noticed i’ve been rather lazy the last 2 weeks on this whole bloggady blog blog thing, all sorts has went on since I last opened my head and let all the insanityand lack of humanity out. 

Bush has been traded for Obama, Guantánamo’s getting shut down like a whore house gone wrong and most importantly ive taken the executive decision to dye my hair blue, thats right its finally happened. Just as the false stupidity of Bush worked im using the medium of hair In an attempt to distract the general public away from my clear lack of personality. Im not entiraly sure where this would fit on the Events of the year list but as a metaphor im sure you will agree that i’ve ran out of things to talk about.

The best way of describing my 2008 would be to imagine a shopping trolly filled with broken promises, utilised tissues and poorly thought out plans racing down the side of a steep hill, towards oncoming traffic.

How he didn’t get smashed to pieces and how the fuck ive come out unscared defies non religious logic.
Its been an insane bottle of fuck ups, incidents, mistakes and heartbrakes that somehow hasn’t yet been smashed across my own forehead……Yet its been a great year. Looking at it event by event it seems like a car crash, but as a collective its modern art.
Each piece of broken glass is a lesson hard learned and each smashed up pelvis bone is a regrettable forgettable yet remember….able memory

You can only move forward once you stop looking back and that how im going to treat 2009, hopefully I wear a seatbelt this time.

Now that’s out the way, time for some angry Granddad style finger wagging.

Why is it a certain film makers feel the need to complain about not having cash, equipment or nationwide exposure to make films.

“How can I make it with out a broadcast quality camera?….Whats the point if no one will see it?…..Im going to lose cash….”

For fuck sake……
If you making films just for financial gain then you may as well work in Morrissons (dark year in a supermarket), sure you’ll make a profit but what’s the point. Film is about expressing yourself.
Also Complaining about equipment is as ridiculous as pissing though your own letter box, its an excuse to not go out and make it happen.
Thinking in your little brainbox that it needs to look good enough for cinema at the stage in your career, isnt just big headed, its down right self deluded Twatary. Use what you have and what you can blag.

If what you make has enough craft, skill and story it wont matter, the internets a powerful thing and keeping that attitude not only will insure no one sees your work, it wont even get made.

Think im going to change quite a lot after sounding ideas to another genuine human. Out loud you discover things that are funny to me are not always taken that way by others. Thats not to say im making this to impress anyone just things I need to think about.

I know this is very different to the direction im heading in at the moment, but me and a mate had a mess about with stop motion and made this kinda cheesy horror short. Wanted to try out something new, let me know what you think.
